You Rock

I love the many options I have with my New Fiskars Desktop Rotary Trimmer. Not only is it a reliable paper trimmer, but I was able to insert a Scoring Blade to fold the card, and cut a decorative edge with the Scallop Blade as well.   Now that’s versatile!

Instructions (Print version)

1. Cut White (12x12) Cardstock to 12 x 6 inches with Rotary Trimmer. Remove Cutting blade from trimmer,  and insert Scoring blade. Score in half and fold. This is your card foundation.

2.Punch the letter ‘U’ out of Aqua Cardstock. Cut ‘Dot with Mushroom’ Cardstock to  4 ½ x 4 ½ inches and adhere to backside of Aqua Punchout Alpha (red dot paper should show through the ‘U’). Attach to card foundation with Tape Runner.

3. Decorate outer scallop edge with black and yellow markers. Using Black and White pens, decorate the square around the letter ‘U’ in a checkerboard design.

4. Inside the checkerboard, draw wavy horizontal lines. Write the word ROCK in this entire area…to fit in between the lines.

5. Attach Red Alphabet Stickers (R-C-K) to FRONT MIDDLE of card. Attach Yellow Chipboard Heart Shape for the ‘O’ in ROCK.

6. Paint around the ROCK letters and inside the ROCK words with white Paint.

7. Attach flower to FRONT LEFT (layered in this order from bottom to top) – White flower shape, black dotted flower, small yellow flower, white dot, red dot.

8. Cut White (8 ½ x 11) paper  to  5 ½ x 11 inches.  Make fold with Scoring blade.  Decorate shortest edges with Scallop Blade…insert into middle of card and adhere with Tape Runner.
