Thinking of You Card- Month of Cards

Plum and teal is such a classy color combo!  By combining a few great pieces from Heidi Grace’s Urban Acres Blvd. collection and one or two Fiskars’ clear stamps, this card can be created in no time flat! 

 

 

Heidi Grace Designs Supplies:

 

1-12 x12 Urban Acres Blvd.- Pinstripes(12-70768)

1- Urban Acres Blvd. Plastic Shapes (12-71280)

 

Fiskars Tools:

 

Clear Stamps- Sentiments (12-70768)

Clear Stamps- Borders (12-8954)

Clear Stamps- Oodles of Doodles (12-8953)

Medium Squeeze Punch- Round ‘n Round (12-7436)

Portable trimmer- 12-9893

 

 

Other:

 

Cardstock- teal, plum

Gold brads

Black ink

 

Create the Card:

 

  1. Cut a piece of 12 x 4 plum cardstock, score and fold to make a 6 x 4 card.
  2. Add a piece of 2 ¼ x 4 piece of teal card along the left edge of the card.
  3. Layer a torn piece of Urban Acres Blvd.- Pinstripes along the left edge of the card over the teal cardstock.
  4. Ink the Oodles of Doodles large frame stamp with black ink and stamp it in the upper right corner of the card. 
  5. Ink two different Borders stamps and stamp three times on green cardstock to create the flower stems and cut them out.
  6. Stamp the “Thinking of You” stamp on to green cardstock and cut out.
  7. Using the Medium Squeeze Punch- Round ‘n Round, punch three circles from the teal cardstock.
  8. Layer the three stamped stems and punched circles on the card and adhere.
  9. Add the three Urban Acres Blvd. plastic flowers with three gold brads.
  10. Attach title to the lower left side of the card.
