Sweet Pea

The new acrylic stamps from Fiskars are so sweet, and go perfectly with Heidi Grace's "Baby" and "Oh so Loved" collections - had to pair them up. The doodly stitching stamps are wonderful too - but my favorite is the border of diaper pins! Oh, and looking for another way to adhere those darling plastic HG embellies? Try punching an adjacent piece of paper (I used the rectangle hand punch) then thread ribbon through both - presto.

Instructions (Print version)

Directions for 5" x 7" card:
1. Trim a 10x7-inch piece of Flowers in a Row Cardstock and fold in half (OR trim a piece of cardstock and cover front of card with Flowers in a Row.)
2. Trim a 2-1/2" x 7" piece of Buggy Cardstock and adhere about 1-inch below the fold.
3. Trim a 2-1/2" x 4-1/2" piece of Oh So Loved Cardstock. Before adhering to card, make 2 punches along one side of strip with Rectangle Hand Punch, about 1" from each end. From the Plastic Add-ons pack, trim a 5" strip of pink scalloped border.
4. Cut two 4" strips of brown ribbon and thread through cardstock and plastic embellishment. Tie together with a knot.
5. Center and adhere Oh So Loved Cardstock to left of card. Apply brown scallop sticker along top edge.
6. Trim a 2x3" strip of cardstock and stamp "Sweet Pea" image. (If desired, heat emboss, then sprinkle with glitter while embossing is still warm. Heat again.) Stamp border stitching image to top and bottom of strip, and adhere to upper right of card with foam pop-dots.
Directions for 4" x 2" chipboard tag:
1. Stamp (and emboss if desired) a 1x2" strip of white cardstock with "Baby Girl."
2. Stamp the base of a 2x2" square of pink Buggy Cardstock with diaper pins. Center and adhere to chipboard tag.
3. Trim a 2" strip of pink scalloped border from the Plastic Add-ons pack. Adhere below diaper pins.
4. Apply sticker borders above pink paper (green w/birds & brown scallop.)
5. Adhere stamped image to tag, slightly off center, with foam poop-dots.
6. Apply chipboard circle over hole in tag, and thread ribbon through both holes. Tie ribbon.
