- Required supplies:
- 8 1/2 x 11 inch white, light pink, medium pink and dark pink cardstock
- Small red brads
Instructions
(Print version)
- Double mat your photo using light pink and medium pink. Adhere mounted photo to the top of the page.
- Cut a 3 x 8 1/2 inch strip of medium pink cardstock. Tear the edges of the border as shown in page example.
- Using the Shape Cutter and the 1 1/2 inch square cut three white squares and three dark pink squares.
- Turn your heart border punch upside down in your hand with the open side on the left.
- Insert a white square into the punch from the bottom and slide upwards to just past the second swirl and punch. If you go as far as the second circle you have gone to far.
- Rotate the square counter clockwise and repeat step 5
- Repeat step 6 two time till all for sides have been punch.
- Repeat steps 5-7 on the two remaining squares.
- Adhere punched squares to dark pink squares.
- Turn the squares with the corner toward the top of the page and adhere to the torn border as shown in the page example.
- Using the 1/16 inch had held punch, punch a hole on each side of the squares (see page example.
- Attach a red brad in each hole.
- Leaving a 1/4 inch space showing at the bottom, adhere the border to the page.
- Create word strip and adhere to the page.
- Create journaling heart using the 3 inch heart from the heart template and the Petites vellum. You can journal by hand or use the computer.
- Adhere journaling heart to the page as shown in the example.
