Instructions (Print version) Front: 1. Stamp “Silent Night” onto white paper. Using paper trimmer, trim stamped white paper to measure 3-1/2- x 4-1/2-inches. Mount to a piece of 4- x 4-7/8-inch Hunter Green cardstock. Glue at an angle to card. 2. Punch a hole in upper left corner. 3. Press iron-on interfacing to fabric. Using Template, ShapeCutter, ShapeBoss, and cutting mat, cut out tree from fabric. (Note: If this is not successful for you, use a pencil to trace the template pattern onto the fabric and cut out with straight-edged scissors.) Using appliqué glue, add a few dots of glue to backside of tree. Apply to card. Using sewing machine and gold metallic thread, stitch around tree. 4. Using tweezers, place bugle beads on tree for garland. 5. Tie a gold metallic ribbon bow and glue to top of tree. 6. Inside: 7. Stamp “May all your Christmas memories be merry ones” onto white paper and trim to 1- x 2-5/8-inches. Glue onto 8. Using foam squares, adhere layered stamped image onto card. 9. Using half of a foam square, adhere gold metal star to upper left corner of stamped image. Envelope: 10. Use cardstock pieces to randomly decorate envelope, if desired. |
