Argh!  I had so much fun creating these pirate party items, that I think my son’s first birthday is going to have a pirate theme!  However, I designed the party in a way that could easily be used for any age.  The skull and crossbones from the INK line of products was so perfect to use for all of these projects.

Treat bag:

1. Start By trimming blue paper to fit width of bag and using wave paper edgers along top edge.  Adhere to back.
2. Trim strip of red stripe paper and adhere to bottom of bag.
3. Trim large ½ circle from yellow paper using Ultra Shape Xpress and super sized circle template.  This will be your “boat”.
4. Trim strips of skulls and red stripes and adhere to top of boat.
5. Place child’s name on boat using stickers.
6. Cut triangular “flag” from skull paper, and strip of gray paper to use as flag “pole”.  Assemble flag and adhere behind boat before adhering boat to bag.
7. Punch L circle from red stripes and M circle from yellow paper, layer and adhere and add silver skull sticker.  Adhere to “flag”.
8. Use pop up circle punch to punch 3 circles from gray paper, add silver skull sticker to each, then adhere to bottom of bag using foam adhesive.


INVITE:

1. Start with a 5x7 piece of red patterned paper.  Trim .75 inch wide stips of crossbones paper (and top white part of crossbones paper) and adhere to bottom.  Trim thin strip of red stripes and adhere between.
2. Print party details on grey paper.  Trim, corner round top 2 corners and adhere over skull paper.
3. Punch L Round N Round circle from yellow paper and then rub skull rubon onto and adhere to bottom side using foam adhesive.
4. Use Ultra Shape Xpress and circle template to trim large ½ circle from yellow paper.  Adhere to top of card.  Rub “come celebrate” onto.
5. Trim thin strip of red stripe paper and adhere to top of card.
6. Punch XL ½ circle from gray paper and adhere over center of yellow ½ circle.  Place silver skull sticker onto.
7. Fit into A7 envelope to send.


THANK YOU:


1. Start with a 4.5x12 piece of red paper.  Fold in half.  Trim approx 1 inch from bottom of front flap.
2. Line inside of card with blue paper.
3. Trim 4.5 x 1.5 piece of skull paper and adhere to bottom of front flap.  Adhere thin strip of red stripes over that, at bottom.
4. Trim large ½ circle from yellow paper using Ultra Shape Xpress and circle template.  Adhere over skull paper, and add “argh!” letter stickers.
5. Punch L circle from blue paper – add silver skull sticker, layer onto XL punched gray circle.  Adhere to front of card using foam adhesive.
6. Decorate front of card flap using silver barbed wire stickers.
7. Add “thank you matey” in silver rubons to bottom of card (which is actually blue inside that shows through).
