Instructions (Print version)

1. I started with a 13” x 19” sheet of thin cardboard (it happens to come with the 13” x 19” printer paper that I order, so I figured this was a good way to recycle the cardboard.)
2. I adhered 5 of the Heidi Grace flocked or glitter papers to the cardboard, then trimmed an inch off the side of the cardboard so that it now measured 12” x 19”.
 3. Next I assembled 31 2” pieces for each of the days in January. I used the chipboard shapes, the flocked punchouts, and various punches to create my 31 pieces, then lined them up on the calendar to mix and match colors/patterns.
4. Using my Fiskars adhesive, I adhered all 31 pieces to my calendar. I created 6 rows of 5 pieces each, and then had one row with one piece for the last day of the month. (Keep in mind that February has fewer days so you’ll need fewer pieces.)
5. After adhering, I numbered each of my pieces from 1-31 using stickers and rub-ons.
6. I decorated the calendar page using snowflake rub-ons and embossed phrases & words stickers for a little bit of extra punch for the page.
7. Next, I used the scoring blade on the trimmer to slightly score a straight line about a 1/2” from the top of the calendar. I folded this scored portion over toward the back of the calendar, and used the scored portion to help hold the ribbon that is tied to the top of the page.
8. Finally, I added my monogramed punchouts to spell “jan.”
