Pastel Birthday Card

- Required supplies:
- Light green cardstock
- White cardstock
- Pink cardstock
- Yellow cardstock with a white core by Die Cuts with a View
- Wide Ticking Stripe patterned paper by Colorbok
- Special Birthday rubber stamp by Hero Arts, Pink stamping ink, Pink chalk
- ¼” white sheer ribbon
- Tiny beads, pearls or jewels (for center of flowers)
- Sandpaper (opt.)
Instructions

- Create a 4 ¼” x 5 ½” card from light green cardstock with the fold at the left.
- Use the large edge of the Scallop Tear Edger and tear off 1” from the front flap edge.
- Cut a 1 ½” strip of Wide Ticking Stripe patterned paper and glue to inside edge of card and trim so when card is closed the patterned paper shows from under the scalloped edged on front.
- Cut a 2 ½” x 5” piece of yellow cardstock and run through the Paper Crimper. Lightly sand if using paper with a white core. Adhere to front of card.
- Stamp sentiment with pink ink onto white cardstock.
- Tear out sentiment and chalk edges with pink chalk. Adhere to yellow piece.
- Use the Daisy Pop Up Punch to punch three pink cardstock flowers.
- Adhere flowers to front of card and glue a pearl or bead to the center of each.
- Tie a white ribbon around the left front flap and knot.
