party cupcakes

I love how cupcakes are the trendy new dessert popping up at every party!  If you're planning a get-together that includes these sweet treats, why not put together your own cupcake toppers?  I created three examples perfect for a Spring baby shower, but can easily be customized to fit your fun party.

Instructions (Print version)

Baby Carriage:
1.) Stamp scallop circle from Wishes All Around onto cardstock and punch out with Seal of Approval XL squeeze punch.  Punch circle out of cardstock using Round 'n Round L squeeze punch and adhere it onto scallop circle. 
2.) Punch baby carriage out of cardstock using Go-Go Baby L squeeze punch.  Stamp a small heart using Heidi Grace stamps and adhere it onto the circle with foam adhesive.  Adhere with a glue dot or tape onto toothpick.
 

Love
1.) Punch scallop square out of cardstock using Squarealicious XL squeeze punch.  Stamp "love" onto the bottom using Heidi Grace stamp. 
2.) Punch out baby feet using Tippy Toes M squeeze punch (to get two feet going the opposite ways, punch the backside of the cardstock and flip it forward.)  Adhere feet to the scallop square and add Cloud 9 rain dots.  Adhere with a glue dot or tape onto toothpick.
 

Butterfly
1.) Punch scallop circle out of cardstock using Seal of Approval XL squeeze punch.  Use Heidi Grace flowers stamp to make a pattern on cardstock, then punch out using Round 'n Round M squeeze punch.  Adhere circle to the center of the scallop circle.
2.) Punch butterfly out of cardstock using All a Flutter squeeze punch and adhere to the circle with foam adhesive.  Add adhesive pearls to the butterfly.  Adhere with a glue dot or tape onto toothpick.
