This sketch is one I use a lot—I vary it up and it rarely looks like anything I’ve done before!  You’re your photos to 3 ½” x 5” to add variety.  Did you know your basic punch shapes have lots of potential!  With a couple of snips of the Microtips, you can create bold borders and photo corners.  This layout shows you how.

Instructions (Print version)

1. Cut yellow patterned paper to 7 ½” x 11” and mount 1” from top of brown cardstock background page.
2. Cut green patterned paper to 2 ½” x 11” and mount 1” from bottom of page.
3. Punch 3 ovals from orange cardstock; cut in half longwise.  Adhere flush to top of green strip.  Add a ½” x 12” strip of brown dot paper overlapping the oval border.  Stitch along top if desired.
4. Arrange photos along middle of page above the border; adhere photos. 

TIP: If you want to add a journaling tag behind the far left photo, simply don’t apply adhesive to the top or middle of the photo.  Place the adhesive around the outer left, right and bottom edges of the photo to create a pocket.

5. Place three buttons in the lower right corner of the far right photograph. 
NOTE:  Did you know that you can add faux stitching with slim strips of paper?  Its easy!

6. Create patterned photo corners by punching squares from brown dotted paper; cut squares diagonally and then snip triangles from the long side.
