m & pop Click image to enlarge Designer: Becky Novacek Although i'm typically a more shabby, vintage-y crafter, I do love to mix clean, modern design into my home. I've been really loving the look of framed pretty, pattern papers and using them as art. This project could be modified and done so many different ways. The two projects that I am featuring, are simply to frame the gorgeous pattern paper alone and then the second photo shows using it the lexcon base as a way to show your scrapbook layouts. You could easily change them out on a regular basis. Difficulty rating
Instructions (Print version)  1. Place the 2 sheets of Lexan together, measure 1/2" x1 inch from each of the four sides and use Fiskars Craft Drill to drill through both sheets. This is amazingly easy to do. The Lexan is super durable, so it doesn't seem to crack or split even if you're fairly agressive with it. 2. Create a scrapbook layout(see instructions for the one pictured below), or simply place an 8.5 x 11 inch sheet of the gorgeous Heidi Grace Midnight Kisses Pattern Paper between the lexan pieces, tacking in place with tab adhesive on the backside of the paper. 3. Place the screws through the 4 holes and add bolts. It's not necessary to screw them tightly in place. Just have them even. Instructions for Scrapbook Page: 1. Adhere 5x7 photo to top center (about 2.5 inches from top) of 8.5x11 inch sheet of Heidi Grace Midnight Kisses Paper. 2. Add Heidi Grace Baby Sticker Phrase to bottom left on photo. 3. Tie Heidi Grace Baby Sheer with Pink Ribbon around left side of photo. Stick Heidi Grace Pink Stick Pin through Ribbon knot. 4. Add Heidi Grace Midnight Kisses Alpha Stickers above photo for title.
