It's no secret, I love my border punches. On this layout I had  fun combining different border punches to create layered decorative strips. Those, along with the vibrant colors of Heidi Grace Designs’ “A Little Bird’s Tale” make a layout that is sure to impress.

Instructions (Print version)

1. Use a 12x12 lavender cardstock as the page background.

2. Trim “Story” paper (green side) to 11 1/4 x 12 inches.  Punch one of the 12” edges using the “Lacy Days of Summer” border punch.  Adhere to the lavender background approximately 1/2” from the top edge, decorative edge down.

3. Trim (2) pieces of 1 x 12 of the “Décor Stripe” paper (pink side) and use the “Treading Water” border punch along one edge. Set aside.

4. Trim (2) pieces of 1x12 of the “Décor Stripe” paper (stripe side) and use the Scallop paper edger along one edge.  Set aside.

5. Layer the 2 different strips together, forming (2) 2-layers strips.  Attach one along the bottom edge of the green “Story” paper.  (Use the other strip for Step #9.)

6. Add (2) horizontal 4x6 photos as shown.

7. Place chipboard title above the photos.  Punch a white circle using the XL Round-n-Round squeeze punch & use it behind the first initial of the title.  Optional:  Add a pink large scallop circle behind the white circle.

8. Add remaining title vertically using cardstock stickers.

9. Align the other layered-strip border to the right of the page.

10. Finally, add clear phrase sticker, glittered flowers, and cardstock stickers as shown.
