The Micro Tip scissors are indispensable—especially if you’re like me and want something a little safer than a craft knife and glass mat to cut out intricate details! I used them to cut out my hand-drawn title script, as well as the flourishy shape of the chipboard I covered with patterned paper…all without a lick of troubles! Difficulty rating
Instructions (Print version) ![]() 1. On the green side of the Splash paper, script your title in pencil. Using the Micro Tip Scissors, cut around your pencil lines so that the word is about ¼” thick all the way around. Ink edges of word.
2. Cut a side border for two of your photos from the dotty side of the Secret Garden papers. Cut to length of photo, and about 1.5” inches wide, then go back and trim one side of the paper piece into loose, irregular scallops (again, with Micro Tip Scissors!) 3. Adhere photos and borders to brown side of Away We Go paper, adhere title word atop photo grouping in center. 4. Add subtitle along side upper right-hand photo with blue Castaway letter stickers. 5. Punch several circles from wood-grain shelf liner, green Castaway paper, and blue dots Secret Garden paper. Ink circles. 6. Cut several freehand leaf shapes from left over green paper. 7. Glue fleur-de-lis Swirl Chip Shape to wrong side of blue dots paper. Using Micro Tip Scissors again, trim excess paper away from chip shape. Ink edges. 8. Adhere punched dots, chip shape, and leaves to bottom left and top right of layout. 9. Add journaling to finish. |
