I love to find new, clever ways to use my stash of stamps.  This layout shows how you can create a custom frame for your page or project with just a few simple steps and some scrap paper!

1. Start with a base sheet of blue patterned paper.  Trim a 12x4 piece of light blue patterned paper and adhere to bottom of page.  Trim strip of arrow patterned paper and adhere above.  Trim thin strip of brown patterned paper and adhere in between arrows and light blue.
2. Use super sized circle templates to trim accent circles for top and bottom of page.  Adhere and add title to top circle.  Use circle template to cut photos and add to top and bottom of page.  Add journaling to bottom of page.
3. Punch various XL arrows from papers and adhere to sides of page.

4. Create stamped frame:  Trim frame size from paper.  Trim piece of scrap paper so that it is slightly larger than the photo you will be using (to allow a thin plain border around your photo).

5. Use a tiny bit of adhesive to keep scrap paper in place on frame in middle (where photo will later cover it.
6. Stamp arrows around the edge of your frame, allowing your scrap paper to act as a mask.  Peel away paper when edges are stamped as much as you’d like them to be.

7. Next trim strips to mask off the part of the frame that you stamped in step #6.  Tape them down on the outside of your frame (no adhesive on your frame this time!) – I taped them down to the scrap sheet that I had underneath my frame.  Use a border stamp to stamp along the inner edge of your scrap strips (which are lined up at the same line that your scrap piece from step #4 was).

8. Peel back strips when completed and you have created your frame.

9. Adhere photo to frame – adhere to page using foam adhesive.
