OMG!Click image to enlarge Designer: Lisa Damrosch I love to create scrapbook pages to tell the stories of my everyday life. I love working with patterned papers and anytime I can find a fun way to use lots of patterns, I’m a happy girl. The Fiskars leave it to weaver punch was a great tool to play with and helped me create this bright and fun layout. I am a featured teacher at www.bigpicturescrapbooking.com where I have several classes current and upcoming, I hope you check it out. Difficulty rating
Instructions (Print version) I n s t r u c t i o n s : 1 . Begin with 11” x 8 1/2” cardstock for a background. 2. Cut several 3/4” strips of coordinating patterned paper and punch with Leave it to Weaver punch (my design uses 10 strips) 2 . Cut the same amount of 3/8” strips from coordinating patterned papers.
3. Mix and match the patterns and weave the small strips through the punched holes on the wider strips. Now you have multiple multi-colored woven strips of paper. 4. Adhere woven strips to cardstock base and add photo. 5. Create title using large letters, but leaving plenty of space for your woven design to show through. My title is a rub-on. 6. Add a journaling strip and handwrite some journaling. 7. Create a subtitle using chipboard and tiny letter stickers.
8. Embellish with confetti pieces that were punched from patterned papers.
