Instructions (Print version) 1. Trim red card stock 11” x 1 ½”. Border Punch – Rope one of the 11” sides. Place double sided tape around the lower edge of the jar. Wrap and press red rope paper over the tape. Trim blue card stock 11” x 1”. Border Punch – Rope along the 11” side. Place double sided tape around the neck of the jar and press the blue rope material around it. 2. Wrap red check ribbon around the base and tie with a bow. Wrap wire around the neck several times and tie the ribbon on the wire to from the handle. 3. To make the lid cover measure the diameter of the lid. Use the CircleCutter to size the appropriate red paper circle cover. Place some double sided tape on the lid and place the circle on top. Carefully hammer nail holes in the lid so air can get into the jar for the captured bugs to breath. Write a message on the lid using the gold gel pen. 4. Use the Corner Punch – Bugs to make blue dragonflies. Decorate the jar as you please by applying a little glue to the back of each dragonfly. |
