A few stars and stripes and you've got a layout perfect for July - or any occasion you like by substituting different shapes. Add journaling where the patterned paper strips are if you have a lot, or rotate the sketch. However you use it, we hope you'll share your creations with us here in the gallery!

Instructions (Print version)

Trim 4-1” x 12” strips of star pattern paper and then use the Fiskars Upper Crest Border Punch along one side of each of the strips.
Trim 4-3/4 x 12” strips of red cardstock and distress edges. Adhere distressed red strips to star strips on border punched sides to create 4 layered strips.
Adhere layered strips to 12”x12” sheet of kraft cardstock.
Adhere 2 vertical 4x6” photos to just left of the center of the layout in a slightly slanted pattern overlapping the photos.
Tear a page from a vintage book and trim 2-1” strips. Use the Fiskars Pinking Shears on one side and distress other sides. Use the Fiskars Pop-Up Star Punch on one strip toward the end. Place a small scrap of pattern paper under. Adhere one strip to the top of photos and one to the bottom
Machine stitch book pages.
Use Fiskars Extra Large Twinkle Twinkle Squeeze Punch to create a total of 6 stars.

Use Fiskars 12x12 Desktop Trimmer to cut 3 skinny strips from scrap papers. Adhere below photos.
Use Fiskars Foam Dots to adhere 5 of 6 stars to the right of the photos. Adhere the last star to the upper left of photos.
Handwrite sentiment on book page strip above photos.
A title could be added above photos.
