Events such as birthdays get us snapping more pictures.  Many of us have a great deal of standard 4x6 photos.  Sometimes, it’s great to scrapbook them without having to crop them.  Here is a simple way to use six 4x6 photos of a special event or celebration — a formula you can repeat over the over. In this 2-page layout, I use the Heidi Grace "We are Family" line to show you that you don't always have to use a matching theme of products to go with your subject.

• Round n' Round - Extra Large
• Portable Rotary Trimmer
• 28mm Pinking Rotary Blade - Blade Style F
• Heidi Grace "we are family" papers, ribbon, and chipboard
• other- blue cardstock

Instructions (Print version)

Use the 12x12 blue cardstock as the background of the 2-page scrapbook layout.  Set them side by side.

LEFT PAGE:

1.     Punch (6) 2-inch circles using the red patterned paper.  Adhere horizontally 1” from the bottom edge of the page.

2.     Trim (1) 2 x 12 strip of yellow patterned paper:  Adhere it horizontally, 2” from the bottom edge of the left page, covering half of the row of red circles.

3.     Add three vertical photos, side by side, above the yellow strip.

4.     Trim a 1x12 of the flocked dot patterned paper & attach it horizontally above the 3 photos.

5.     Add a 1/2 x 12 strip of orange patterned paper (pinked edge) above the dotted patterned paper strip.

RIGHT PAGE:

1.     Trim (1) 2 x 12 strip of yellow patterned paper:  Adhere it horizontally, 2” from the bottom edge of the right page.

2.     Punch (6) 2-inch circles using the red patterned paper.  Adhere vertically 1” from the left edge of the page.

3.     Add a variety of 2” circles using coordinating patterned papers.  Place them vertically to the left of the row of red circles.  Include a rectangular chipboard block for the journaling.  Tie a ribbon on it.

4.     Add (3) horizontal photos and adhere them to the page, covering half of the red circles.

5.     Trim a 1x12 of the flocked dot patterned paper & attach it vertically beside the 3 photos.

6.     Add a 1/2 x 12 strip of orange patterned paper (pinked edge) to the right of the dotted patterned paper strip.

With both left and right pages assembled, you may align and adhere the title of your choice.  Use cardstock stickers and chipboard alphabet stickers.

Place a number or monogram sticker on green chipboard circle.  Mat this with a 2” orange circle.  Adhere it with foam adhesive, directly over the 4th red circle from the left.

Fold various coordinating ribbons & tuck each one under the number or monogram as shown.
