I’m fortunate to get to travel a bit with my “real” job, so I’m always looking for great ways to organize all the items that I need to pack in my suitcase. This super-simple jewelry bag can be made in a variety of sizes to help organize (& protect!) all your accessories.

Instructions (Print version)

1. Using the Fiskars Rotary Cutter, cut a rectangle of fabric to your desired size. For this project, I used a 8” wide x 15” long piece.
2. Fold over each edge of the fabric 1.5”, and pin.
3. Stitch the folded edge, using two parallel lines. This will leave a “valley” for your cording to thread through.

4. With right sides together, stitch up the sides of your bag. Turn right side out.
5. Using the Fiskars Micro Tip Scissors, snip a small opening on each side of your bag. Make sure that the opening is between the two stitched lines, but doesn’t cut either.
6. Thread a piece of cording through the openings, draw the bag together, and tie.
