J & B mini book

The premise of this mini-book is to keep it classic, and appropriate for gift giving to a man, or to someone you are just getting to know. Also, it was created using only minimal consumables, 3 sheets of pattern paper, a vintage book page, scrap cardstock and a Cloud 9 Board Book.

(Print version)
1. Use the largest medallion Fiskars Lil Davis Crillon Adornments Stamp for the cover. After ink is set, add gem to center.
2. Trim a piece of Heidi Grace Moonlight Meadows paper to 6” x3” to create “binding”. Adhere to binding around front and back. (insert photo j & b mini book back and cover photo)
3. Pages 2 & 3: Round corners on left side of 4x6 vertical photo and adhere to page 2. Trim 2 strips of flocked paper from Heidi Grace Daydream Believer collection to 2”x 6” and adhere one strip to right side of page 2. Round corners of right side of another 4x6 vertical photo and adhere to page 3 right side. Adhere 2nd strip of flocked paper to left of photo.
4. Stamp images in open section at bottom center.
5. Trim a vintage book page to 1 inch strip by the length of the page. Pleat the strip into small pleats using your fingernail to crease (or a bonefolder) Adhere above stamped images.
 6. Pages 4 & 5: Round top left corner of horizontal 4x6 photo and adhere to the top of page 4. Trim 2 strips of Heidi Grace Daydream Believer Pattern Paper to 2” x 6”, adhere one strip below photo on page 4. Repeat on page 5, only round the top right corner of photo. Stamp Lil Davis Crillon Adornments Stamp below photo on page 4. Stamp journaling lines from Fiskars Thank You Stamps onto ivory scrap cardstock, then use Fiskars Round n’ Round Squeeze Punch to create round journaling spot. Adhere to left side of page 5 overlapping onto photo. Handwrite sentiment.
7. Pages 6 & 7: Round left corners on 4x6 vertical photo and adhere to far left side of book. Trim 4x6 vertical photo down the center lengthwise using Fiskars Desktop Trimmer. Adhere to center of book. Round corners of right side of 4x6 vertical photo and adher to far right side of book page. Stamp heart image from Thank You Stamps onto vintage book page and cut out heart. Adhere stamped, cut out heart to bottom right side of page and stamp “together” from Family Traditions Stamp next to heart. Adhere gem to heart.
8. Pages 8 & 9:Stamp 2 strips “live love laugh” onto Heidi Grace Moonlight Meadows Pattern Paper and trim into 2 strips. Set aside. Round bottom left corner of 4x6 horizontal photo and adhere to bottom of page 8. Adhere one of the stamped strips above photo. Adhere 6” strip of rickrack above. Repeat on page 9, only make sure you round the bottom right side of photo.
 9. Pages 10 & 11:Use Fiskars Block Party Squeeze Punch to create 6 squares, using the Pattern Papers and vintage book page. Use Fiskars Circle Pop-up Punch on bottom right of one of the punched squares. Adhere squares below 2 horizontal 4x6 photos with top corners rounded and photos adhered. Make sure to place the square with the punched circle on the far right. Stamp small heart stamp from Thank You Stamps on circle opening in far right square.
