Holiday PlannerClick image to enlarge Designer: Lisa Storms When I decided I needed a Christmas planner to get organized this year, I knew I wanted something with a cozy holiday feeling. I instantly thought of felt! I don't know if it's the felt ornaments we made as a kid or those felt stockings, but felt screams Christmas to me. I used Heidi Grace Design's brand new Christmas stamps directly on felt to give a simple wreath that homey feeling! I also created my "own" stamp to make candy cane stripes on my title using a scrap of cardstock and my trusty Fiskars' crimper. I housed all of my fun stampings on a red composition book I bought because the color made me happy, but after getting it home it reminded me of Santa's red jacket and black belt! And just to be certain it stays out of curious hands, I added a few bells to be give away any snoopers! Difficulty rating
Instructions (Print version)
1. Stamp both holly leaves repeatedly onto green felt using stamp press; cut out with scissors.
2. Using circle cutter on craft mat, cut 5.5" circle from neutral cardstock. ![]() 6. Stamp diagonal lines onto letters in both pink then red ink. I didn't have any red ink with me, so I simply used a red marker to trace over the pink stamped lines to form my faux candy cane stripes.
