To really show off my new favorite stamp sets (like these from Reagan’s Closet) –I love to create something that I can use almost every stamp design.  Photo mats are perfect to create a bold pattern with stamps.  Color in the designs, add glitter or gems to make it sparkle!  Have fun with it!

Instructions (Print version)

1. Start with largest designs and stamp them in somewhat of a visual triangle around the photo mat.  Gradually keep stamping going from the largest to smallest images to fill in the gaps and complete the pattern.
2. Color in stamp designs with color pencils or markers.  Add gems or glitter to embellish.
3. Add strips of scalloped cardstock to the backside of mat to create a double mat effect.
4.   Tie ribbon around mat and secure on back side with tape.  Add jump rings and chipboard letter to finish the look.
