Flower Gift BoxDesigner: I love to cover and decorate gift boxes! In the past, it would've taken me an hour to cut out this floral bouquet with a craft knife and stencil, but with Fiskars New Shapes & Flowers Template Set and Ultra ShapeXpress, I was done in a couple of minutes. A great handmade gift that only looks like it took a long time to make!

Instructions (Print version) Decorate the Lid:
Using Ultra Shape Xpress Cutting Tool and Flowers Shape Template cut out both types of flower shapes from Green and Pink Cardstock (5-pink, 4-Green). With scissors, cut green flowers in half (set aside). Using Hand Punch, punch 1 hole in center of each pink flower. Place pencil at the center of each flower, and using fingertips push flower petals toward pencil (see photo). Using Precise Drill, make holes 5 holes in lid (1 hole at center, and 4 more radiating out in a square ¾ inch from center hole. Thread each pink flower with one small silk flower and one small brad…secure through underside of lid. Apply adhesive to the underside of each cut green flower. Decorate box top with flowers in a radiating circle (tucking and overlapping ) under pink flowers. This whole arrangement will look like a bouquet. Measure circumference of lid and cut a length of word ribbon to match. Adhere around edge with Tape Runner. Turn the lid upside down and measure the inside circle. Use circle cutter to cut a circle to fit out of Green Dot Paper.
Decorate the Base: Measure outside of base and use scissors cut a length of green dot paper to cover. Adhere to lid with adhesive. It’s ok if box is larger …no worries if it’s not seamless…I had to piece mine. Turn base upside down and measure diameter of base. Use circle cutter to cut a circle to fit out of Green Dot paper. Adhere to bottom of base with adhesive. Sand all outer edges lightly with sanding block.
