Instructions (Print version)

  1. Adhere your vertical 8"x10" photo.
  2. Cut a strip of 3.5" x 12" of patterned paper.  Lay it over the left
  3. side of the cardstock overlapping the photo.
  4. Next you'll need the 1/8" eyelet setter to set three sets of eight
  5. holes on this page.  We'll just concentrate on the top right corner.  Place the page on a self-healing mat.   You need to create eight holes about a half-inch apart, four in each row.  Place the hole-setting side of the tool on the page and pull the spring straight up.  Release the spring, then lift up your eyelet tool.  You should have a whole in the paper.  Flip the page over and place the eyelet shaft through the hole.  Place the setting end of the eyelet tool on top of the eyelet, pull up on the spring and release the spring.  Be sure to pull straight up and do not pull it more than two inches.  Repeat this a couple of times to make sure the eyelet is set.   Repeat this whole process on the other seven holes.
  6. Weave the shoelace through the holes like you are tying a shoe and
  7. tie a bow.
  8. Repeat this shoelace design on other parts of the page.
  9. Create a title using the white rub-on letters.
