Instructions (Print version) Each bottom layer of flower is created by trimming a circle of fabric (with a 3-inch diameter) with either pinking shears, or microtip scissors. Cut muslin backing slightly smaller than circle layer, back, and machine stitch together with a color-coordinated thread. (This will ensure a strong base to each fabric flower) Each additional layer of the flower can be created similarly – backing with muslin and stitching if desired. Also, layer can be created by tracing various flower shapes from templates provided and trimming from fabric. **Layer flowers anyway you like – making each different from the next. Stitch button to center of top layer, and then use fabric glue to adhere center of each layer together. Glue pin to backside of flower and enjoy! |
