Instructions (Print version)
![]() 1. Start by creating a template from which to drill/punch holes. I used a piece of kraft cardstock that measured 4 wide x 7.5 long and then measured in 2.75 inches from either end on the long side to punch my holes for the template – using the ¼ inch hole hand punch. ![]() 3. After marking where to drill, you are ready to drill your holes for binding. I used the 3/16 inch drill bit with my craft drill. TIP: It helps to have someone hold the acrylic in place while drilling. If you don’t have a helper/assistant, try weighing each side of the acrylic down with heavy books.
4. After drilling, you should have clean holes approximately equal to the template you used as your guide. Drill holes in each of the acrylic sheets for your book. ![]() 5. Now you are ready to punch holes in your 4x6 prints, to add to your album. Use the template and ¼ inch hole hand punch to do this. ![]() 8. If desired, create journaling tags by trimming 6x2 pieces of patterned paper – corner rounding corners, using your template to punch holes, and then using Cloud 9 raindot eyelets to “reinforce” holes, and adding journaling, stickers, embellishments. Then add journaling tag in before photos to explain different shots. ![]() Supply List: Lil Davis: Paper, stickers, rubons, chipboard alphas from ‘Away We Go’ line Heidi Grace Designs: Small brown alpha rubons from We are family line Cloud 9 Design: Eyelet Raindots, Raindots Other: acrylic sheets, permanent marker, bookrings, kraft cardstock ![]() |
