'enjoy fall' Click image to enlarge Designer: Kelly Purkey You're going to fall in love with the new Fiskars What a Nut Squeeze Punch! It's the perfect shape to accent your projects with. Since it punches two pieces, you can switch things up and punch two different papers. For my wall display, I punched the bottom of the acorn out of colored cardstock and the top out of kraft cardstock. Once all the pieces were punched, I added a little detail using Fiskars Stamps. It's the perfect way to say "enjoy fall!" Difficulty rating
Instructions (Print version) 1. Trim teal cardstock to 8x10 for background of the display. Punch one .75x10 strip and one 1x10 strip of green cardstock using Fiskars Scallop Sentiment Border Punch. 2. Use Fiskars No. 4 Mini Craft Scissors to handcut a tree out of patterned paper. Adhere the tree to the background and machine stitch with brown thread around the edge.
3. Use Fiskars What a Nut Squeeze Punch to punch out acorns from cardstock (kraft and colors as shown) . Stamp the bottoms of the acorns with colored ink and circle stamp from Fiskars Just Between Friends Stamp Set. Stamp the tops of the acorns with Versamark clear ink and dot stamp from Fiskars Just Between Friends Stamp Set. Adhere acorns to the tree.
4. Use Fiskars Mint Condition Squeeze Punch to punch leaves out of cardstock, then adhere them to the tree. Use Fiskars That's Amore XL Squeeze Punch to punch a heart out of patterned paper. Rub "enjoy fall" onto the heart and adhere to the center of the tree. Insert into white frame.
