With all the things that Moms do everyday, keeping lists helps getting those tasks in order. What Mom could not use a mini clipboard for her grocery lists and to-do lists?  Create this beautiful clipboard with Kimberly Poloson’s “Old Fashioned Flowers” line and Fiskars’ rotary decorative blades.

  • Desktop Rotary Trimmer
  • 28mm Wave Rotary Blade - Blade Style F
  • 28mm Scallop Rotary Blade - Blade Style F
  • No. 5 Softgrip® Micro-Tip® Craft Scissors
  • Kimberly Poloson "old fashioned flowers" paper and stickers
  • Heidi Grace Winnefred Street Printed flowers
  • other- 12x12 heavy-weight chipboard, cardstock, bulldog magnetic clip, brown ink

Instructions (Print version)

1. Cut 2 pieces of 6” x 9” heavy-weightchipboard.  Adhere the two together to create a sturdy clipboard base.  Ink all raw edges with brown ink.
2. Trim a 6 x 9 piece of the “Stripes” paper(dotted side).  Apply to one side of the chipboard base, making sure that all corners & edges are adhered securely.
3. Trim 2 pieces of 1 3/4 x 6 of “Harlequin” paper(solid blue side).  Use the “Wave” rotary blade on one long edge.  Apply each one to the bottom and top edge of the clipboard.
4. Trim 2 pieces of 1 1/4 x 6 of light browncardstock.  Adhere each one over each of the blue pieces in the previous step.
5. Using the “Scallop” rotary blades & trimmer,trim 2 pieces of 1 x 6 of the “Stripe” paper.  Layer each one over the light brown cardstock strip from the previous step.
6. Apply the light yellow ribbon across the bottomborder, wrapping edges behind the clipboard.
7. Punch a small 1/8” hole through the thickness ofthe clipboard for the flower placement.  Place the 2-layered flower & secure brad in place.  Add the metal sticker.
8. Trim a 6 x 9 piece of the “Mixed Flowers” paper(brown side) and apply it to the back of the clipboard, all edges sealed.
9. Add the jumbo magnetic clip to the clipboardtop.  Double-knot some coordinating ribbons.
10. Apply “Mom” rub-on onto a chipboard tag &use string to hang it on the clip.
