• Cardstock - light purple, dark purple and light yellow
• Rubber stamps - happy birthday and To & From
• Purple embroidery thread
• Sheer purple ribbon
• Photo
• Ruler
• Pencil
• Violet ink pad

Instructions (Print version)

1. Cut a piece of dark purple cardstock to measure 10-1/2" X 2-1/2. Use ruler to measure and draw a straight line along both long edges 1/2" away from each edge. Measure 5-1/4" in from short edge and mark. (This will be the center point of your strip the long way) Measure from center point and mark at 1", 2-1/2" and 4". Measure and mark at same intervals toward both ends of strip.
2. Lay 2" circle (on Circles ShapeTemplate) over center spot on strip. Use both 1" measurements as guide to line up circle and center circle left to right. Use ShapeCutter to cut along curve between two drawn lines. Stop cutting at each drawn line. Move ShapeTemplate down to 2-1/2" mark and cut along one curve. Repeat at 4" mark. Repeat entire process for other end of strip. Use hand punches to punch along edge of inner circle curves, then in outermost circle curves. Save punched pieces for later.
3. Cut a piece of yellow cardstock to measure 1-1/2" X 10-1/2". Weave between curved cuts so punched curves are above yellow strip. Use photo stickers to adhere woven strip to right edge of light purple cardstock. Use photo stickers to adhere trimmed edges along side of woven strip. Use ShapeCutter wth Circles ShapeTemplate with craft mat to cut one 1" circle from light purple cardstock. Use photo stickers to adhere to center of middle circle in woven strip. Use glue stick to adhere 1/4" dark purple punch in center of light purple circle, and also in center of each yellow section of woven border.
4. Use ShapeCutter with Tags ShapeTemplate and craft mat to cut one circle shaped tag from light purple cardstock. Use Circles ShapeTemplate to cut one 2" yellow circle and one 1" dark purple circle. Adhere to tag using photo stickers. Stamp "To" and "From" onto yellow circle. Punch one hole through center of dark purple circle using 1/8" hand punch. String purple embroidery thread through hole and tie to handle of bag. Trim ends. Tie ribbon around same handle of bag, tie into bow, then trim ends.
