- Cardstock - Brown, Black, Tan
- Patterned paper – Brown, black & tan with circles
- Craft fibers
- Circle charm
- Adhesive (Hermafix or tape runner, etc.)
Instructions
(Print version)
- Cut both a piece of brown cardstock and a piece of patterned paper to measure 5 ½" X 11". Fold each piece in half to create 5 ½" square cards.
- Lay card flat onto craft mat. Using ShapeCutter, freehand cut large waves to trim off approximately 2" of front flap of card.
- Cut a piece of black cardstock to measure 5 ½" square. Lightly adhere to inside of front (wavy cut) flap of card. Using ShapeCutter, cut black cardstock piece along wavy line to create ¼" border.
- Cut several strands of craft fibers to measure 6". Divide fibers into 2 groups. Adhere one half of fibers between front flap of card and black piece. Apply more adhesive to backside of front flap of card and securely adhere black piece to front flap.
- Apply adhesive to inside of back flap of card. Adhere second half of fibers to inside of back flap of card. Adhere one flap of patterned paper piece (printed side should be adhered down) to inside of back flap of card.
- Tie both groups of fibers into a knot, threading one fiber strand through loop on charm. Trim ends as desired.
- Using ShapeCutter with Circles ShapeTemplate and craft mat, cut "rings" from various cardstock colors by first cutting a smaller circle, then cutting a larger circle around it.
- After cutting several circles and rings, adhere them to the front flap of the card.
