Light up your home by embellishing a lamp!

Instructions (Print version)

1.          carefully disassemble the lampshade.

2.          using the lampshade as a pattern, cut a gold vellum lampshade.

3.          cut a 1x3” strip of vellum.

4.          adhere to the base of the lampstand.

5.          cut 6” of cording and adhere to the base of the lampstand(wrap as many times as desired)

6.          Cut 2 stars using the shapecutting tool.

7.          cut a piece of purple cardstock 3 1/4” x 4 5/8”.

8.          emboss the stars and the purple strip using the illusion texture plates. 

9.          embellish the strip with the gold metallic photo writer.

10.     adhere the strip to the base of the lampstand.

11.     adhere stars to the gold vellum lampshade.

12.     wrap the top and bottom ring of the lampshade with 1/4” tape. 

13.     re assemble the shade. (adhere the gold vellum shade to the rings).

14.     run 1/8”tape along the top of the shade and dip into microbeads.

15.     run 1/4” tape along the bottom of the shade and place cording leaving enough room to dip into microbeads.

16.   dip into microbeads.
