Camping Click image to enlarge Designer: Lisa Storms This simple sketch makes quick work of a layout by keeping all photos uncropped at a standard size of 3.5" x 5" along left and one trimmed piece of cardstock at right. The overlapping title draws the two main elements together, and a space is left in the journaling for a page embellishment.

Instructions (Print version) 1. Align three 3.5" x 5" photos along left side of red cardstock background. Corner round exterior corner of top and bottom photos, ink all edges, adhere to layout. 2. Trim Luster Evergreens cardstock to 5.75" x 10.75", corner round right corners, ink edges, adhere to right side of layout. 3. Punch two triangles from forest green cardstock. Cut slit at bottom center of one triangle and fold up each side to mimic a tent. Ink edges and adhere to duplicate triangle. 4. Place letter stickers at center of layout spelling "CAMPING" while replacing the "A" with previously made tent on foam adhesive dots. Outline letters in black. 5. Cut journaling strips from light green cardstock and adhere below title. 6. Punch three commas from varying vellums and adhere in a cluster to mimic campfire. Adhere to bottom right of layout with foam adhesive dots covered by two cuts of chipboard for firewood. 7. Complete embellishment by adhering chipboard sticker to cluster with foam adhesive dots. |
