Instructions
(Print version)
- Cut a piece of brick cardstock to measure 5-1/2" X 8-1/2". Fold in half and score to create a card that measures 5-1/2" X 4-1/4".
- Secure texture plate to ShapeBoss tray with pegs. Lay front flap of brick card onto texture plate, outside of card toward plate. Rub stylus across entire paper repeatedly to texturize entire front flap of card.
- Cut a piece of navy cardstock to measure 4-1/4" X 2-3/4".
- Remove texture plate from ShapeBoss tray. Lay Rectangle stencil onto tray and secure with pegs. Insert navy cardstock piece between stencils. Emboss smallest rectangle frame onto navy piece.
- Remove navy piece from stencils.
- Adhere navy piece to hunter cardstock using photo stickers.
- Trim hunter cardstock around navy piece, leaving approximately a 1/8" border. Adhere these layers to center of front flap of card using pop dots.
- Ink rubber stamp with blue ink. Stamp onto white cardstock piece. Tear around stamped words. Chalk around torn edges using navy decorating chalk. Adhere this piece to center layers on front flap of card using photo stickers.
- Remove Rectangle stencil and replace with Celebrations stencil. Insert yellow cardstock between stencils. Emboss 2 balloon shapes into yellow cardstock. Trim each balloon shape out with scissors. Chalk along right edge of each balloon using brown decorating chalk. Adhere both balloons to right edge of blue layer on front of card.
- Cut several strands of craft fibers to measure approximately 16". Wrap around spine of card from inside of card to outside of card. Tie in knot near left edge of card. Trim ends as desired.
