Bouquet Lamp

What was so nice about using this drill was that I did not have to pre-plan my holes to thread the ribbon.  This tool is light enough to hold right up to the finished lamp shade, yet strong enough to drill clean holes right  through the existing shade and paper covering as well.

• Heidi Grace Bouquet Ribbon Card
• Fiskars Tape Runner
• Spray Adhesive
• Embroidery Thread
• Acrylic Paint

Instructions (Print version)

For Lamp Shade:
1. Lay 2 sheets of identical paper side by side. Apply thin strip of adhesive to one side of paper with Tape Runner overlapping with second sheet of paper about 1/4 inch connecting both sheets to make one continuous sheet of paper.
2. Using a pencil, trace the top and bottom of the lampshade as you roll it slowly along the entire sheet of paper. Cut along lines.
3. In a well ventilated area, spray adhesive onto paper, then carefully adhere to lamp, smoothing with fingertips.
4. Apply adhesive to various ribbons and apply to top of lamp covering raw edges.
5. Using Precise Drill make holes through shade every 2 inches. Lace Ribbon through holes.
6. Decorate shade with Ribbon Ties by looping embroidery thread through ribbon and tying in a knot.

For Base of Lamp:
1. Using sponge applicator, apply paint to base of lamp. Apply second coat if needed.
2. Decorate with Ribbon, Plastic Heart Embellishments and Fancy Trim as desired.
