The Wave Tear Edger makes creating this simple page even easier.  Simply tear multiple strips to accent the top of the photo mat and frame the bottom.  Add your title and a few embellishments and you’re done! 

 

*Tip: When tearing pull in small increments to keep your paper close to the shape of the Tear Edger.

  • Tear Edger-Wave
  • Desktop Rotary Trimmer
  • No. 5 Micro-Tip® Scissors
  • Cloud 9 "riley's Bay" papers, stickers, chipboard
  • Cloud 9 rain dots (sky, white)
  • Cloud 9 "wedding" large cardstock alpha stickers
  • Li'l Davis - chipboard alpha vintage wood, tinsel town glitter circle book plates
  • other: white mini brads, acrylic paint, white cardstock
  • computer font: Tempus Sans ITC

Instructions (Print version)

1. Paint Chipboard Alphas with white acrylic paint; let dry and lightly sand edges.

2. Use Sky patterned paper for background.

  1. 3. Machine stitch (white thread) 3 times around page – ½” from edge.
  2. 4. Cut 5 x 7 piece of Lowtide and adhere 1 ½” from left side.
  3. 5. Tear wave strip from Sun patterned paper; trim to 5” wide and adhere to top of mat.
  4. 6. Tear strip from Surfboard; trim to 10” and adhere strip across bottom of Lowtide mat.
  5. 7. Adhere 4 x 6 photo overlapping mat and on top of torn strip.
  6. 8. Tear strips from Yellow Shore and The Surf; trim to 10” and 11” and layer over bottom of photo.
  7. 9. Attach Sunshine This n’ That sticker to back of Bookplate and adhere at bottom right of photo using mini brads.
  8. 10. Apply Alpha Stickers and Chipboard Alphas for title.
  9. 11. Apply Chipboard Accents as shown.
  10. 12. Apply Rain Dots on wave, around flowers and around Chipboard Alphas.
  11. 13. Journal on white cardstock; trim to strips and adhere on page.
