Baseball Party

Baseball is such a common and versatile party theme! I created this party for an end-of-the-season party for the teeball team I coach, but it could just as easily be used for a birthday or summer party. Fiskars tools can help you hit a homerun with a wide assortment of circular tools for baseballs, woodgrain textures for bat embellishments, baseball-themed stamps, and punches for lacing and fun extras!

Invitations
1. Using Ultra ShapeXpress with circle template on craft mat, cut 4.5" circle from white and red cardstock. Fold another sheet of white cardstock in half and cut another 4.5" circle leaving the side of circle out of template to form folded card base.
2. Overlap same circle template onto side of original white circle, approximately 1.25" from margin at widest point. Cut off this slice from circle using Ultra ShapeXpress. Repeat for other side of circle.
3. Place all three pieces of circle back together and mark punch lines along both curved lines. Remove each piece individually and punch along markings with rectangle hand punch, taking notice of which angle the punches should be for the stitched effect.
4. Adhere all pieces of white ball to red circle using foam adhesive dots leaving the slightest gap, and adhere to card base.
5. Stamp "You're Invited" from Baby stamp set onto brown cardstock. Crumple repeatedly to achieve leathered effect.
6. Adhere to bottom right of card along with blue punched star with foam adhesive dots to complete outside of card.
Centerpiece
1. Drill several holes into softball using Craft Drill and fill with lollipops.
2. Punch stars from cardstock in coordinating colors and adhere with tape to lollipops.
3. Fill jar with peanuts and place ball onto jar mouth.
4. Place baseball-themed Rain Dots around jar to complete centerpiece.
Cupcake Pennants
1. Cut triangle pennants from assorted felt.
2. Cut thin strips of white felt and glue to left side of all pennants and allow to fully dry.
3. Add felt letter stickers to each pennant spelling party message or team name.
4. After dry, punch two 1/8th inch circles into sides and thread shortened bamboo skewers to push into cupcakes.
Favor Bags
1. Arrange baseball and letter stamps onto stamp press and ink each with selected colors of fabric stamping ink.
2. Stamp combo onto premade mini canvas bags.
3. Print "HIGH FIVE" in small letters onto white cardstock and punch with tag squeeze punch.
4. Add hand punched from neutral cardstock to tag with foam adhesive dot.
5. Punch hole for Rain Dot eyelet using eyelet setter and attach tag to bag handle using leather lace.
