Angela Daniels, Fiskateer #009 ~ One of the great things about being a Fiskateer is connecting with people who share a passion for crafts like I do.  These are people that I think of as friends but I may never meet.  To create a stronger connection, I like to participate in swaps particular ones where I can see real photos of my Fiskateer friends.  This helps me remember who is who when I am in the chat room or on the happy occasions where I get to meet Fiskateers in person.

Starting a swap is very easy.  You simply think up a criteria, and start a thread asking people to join.  To make the swap manageable, it's a good idea to put a number cap on how many participate and to have the host of the swap be the primary contact and organizer.

Instructions (Print version)

For my project, I asked a few of my Fiskateer friends if they would make tags for my new ATC organizer.  I plan to keep it near my computer to help me remember them as I look through the Fiskateer message board and gallery.  Since I had a specific organizer I was looking to fill and because these friends share my passion for Fiskateer products, I was able to ask them to adhere to a rather strict set of guidelines.  Consequently, I have a beautiful set of cards from very different artist and yet, they still go well together. You can see that each Fiskateer (including me) used their favorite Fiskars family of papers and used their favorite Fiskars tool.  Here is the original set of instructions I sent:

I am looking for 2.5 x 3.5 ATC cards. There will be small notches punched in it after you send it to me- you can make note of where they will be in general on Leah's examples so you take that room into consideration.... they are about 3/8" from the top and bottom and go into the card about 1/4 of an inch)  Here's the info I would love:

*on the front:  A picture of you with your real name, Fiskateer name (if it's different) and your Fiskateer number

*on the back:  your physical address (if you don't mind sharing it with me- it won't be posted anywhere) and a bit of scrapping inspiration- maybe a favorite quote someone could use on a layout or a favorite color scheme or a favorite website for scrapping inspiration (Fiskars aside- lol).

Guidelines:  Please use your favorite Fiskars family of papers and embellishments (Heidi Grace, Cloud 9, etc) and for one more added twist, please use your favorite Fiskars tool somewhere on the card- whether you have a fun deco edge border, squeeze punch etc.
