- Required supplies:
- Fiskars Mini ShapeBoss Embossing System
- Fiskars Mini ShapeBoss Stencil Set – Summer Fun
- Pewter colored 1/8” eyelets
- White cardstock
- Red, navy, tan, and grey cardstock (with a white inner core)
- Sewing machine and white thread
- Computer font: Arial Black from Microsoft Word
- Other: White net paper, cotton string, foam mounting tape, adhesive
Instructions

- Create a 5” square card from white cardstock with the fold on the left.
- Cut four 2 ½” squares, one each from grey, navy, red, and tan cardstock. Lightly sand edges of these blocks.
- Place blocks on front of card and use the sewing machine and white thread to straight stitch around the edges of each block.
- Cut two 2 ¼” white net blocks and adhere slightly angled on the grey and tan blocks.
- Use the Mini ShapeBoss Embossing System and Summer Fun Stencil Set to emboss the items onto the following colors of cardstock: seagull/grey, shell/tan, anchor/navy, bucket and shovel/red. Cut about 1/8” away form the embossing on each item and lightly sand each piece to highlight the embossing.
- Use the eyelet setter to set an eyelet in the top of the anchor and the sides of the bucket.
- Thread a piece of cotton string through the top of the anchor.
- Adhere the embossed items to the block pieces with foam mounting squares.
- Tie a piece of cotton string around the front flap of the card along the fold and knot.
- Computer print “Ahoy” onto white cardstock with navy ink and cut out.
- Sew around the word and adhere to front of card under knot on the string.
