Instructions for : altered box

Take a stack of favorite scrap papers and line the inside of your box and lid. I used a wet adhesive and allowed it to dry before layering.
Take scraps that could be in strips for the inside trim. Simply take strips that are about ½” wide and any length and use the Fiskars Scallop Sentiment Border Punch on long sides. Continue to punch as many lengths as you need to trim out the lid and box sides. Add bold photo (the one I used is a 5”x7”) to inside of box and then trim out with more scalloped punched strips.

Use Fiskars Round n Round Squeeze Punch to create one circle from vintage paper. Then trim and add to photo. This would be a good spot to add more journaling or a date if you like.
Layer vintage ledger paper over chipboard scrap and adhere. Use Fiskars Pinking Shears to trim bottom edge. I have 2 Fiskars Pinking Shears, one for paper/crafting and one for fabric. Handwrite quote.
Add pompom trim and vintage floral piece to quote block and adhere with Fiskars Foam Dots.

Add vintage embroidered trim below quote box.

The box I used had a sort of built-in shelf which I used for a scrabble tile word. You could just adhere the tiles if your box doesn’t have a shelf or you could use the bottom of the inside of the box. Also, I left some of the tools that were in the original box for fun.
