Madison, WI - One year ago Fiskars launched Fiskars TV, a web-based video how-to craft program, and fiskarscrafts.com, a website that recognizes all the many wonderful crafts and projects that can be created with Fiskars products.  “The results of our web programs have exceeded our wildest dreams, involving fun and innovative guests, product demonstrations and live chats with our own craft experts and the world-wide crafting community,” says Suzanne Walker, host of Fiskars TV.  “Our birthday party is going to last the entire month of June with lots of exciting and fun activities.”

Our Gift to You…A New Birthday Craft Every Week  Each week during June fiskarscrafts.com will highlight a special birthday craft project such as an invitation, gift bag, party favor or birthday scrapbook page.  Check out the June crafts and get inspired for your own birthday celebration.

Load the Gallery and Win a Prize You’ll Love  Do you have a craft you’re especially proud of?  Take a picture and post it on the fiskarscrafts.com new Craft Gallery.  The Gallery will be a permanent part of the website and feature craft submissions to share with the craft community.  To help launch the Craft Gallery, grab-bag prizes will be awarded to the first 50 entries.  New craft entries will be rotated on the site so each visit will be unique and inspiring.

Taped Live in Front of a Studio Audience  The anniversary episode of Fiskars TV was filmed LIVE in front of a studio audience.  During this episode Julie McGuffee, host of the PBS show, Scrapbook Memories, raises the bar on recycling by transforming items destined for the trash into incredible crafts using Fiskars tools, no traditional craft supplies.  The audience loved it!  And there is a special BONUS prize package at the end of the show. 

One-year Face Lift  To keep things fresh and bright fiskarscrafts.com will be updated with new graphics and colors to reflect the sleek and hip trends within crafting.  Same great functions, trendy new look debuting June 4th.

Happy Birthday From  All of the talented guests from Fiskars TV during the past year have been invited to send their own birthday wishes and memories expressed in fabulous and creative cards.  The cards will be displayed on fiskarscrafts.com along with birthday wishes from the sender.
