Gifts for dadThis month here on fiskars crafts we are encouraging you to craft a gift for a dad in your life. An uncle, brother, son, grandfather... craft something that he will love and treasure. Be sure to upload a photo of the project to our gallery (by the 27th of June) and you will be entered to win a box of product including papers from Cloud 9's new Max's Backyard line, lil Davis stamps, a craft drill, and much more! To get you inspired I have invited three of the Fiskars designers to create projects for men in their lives to share with us.
Becky has taken a simple photo frame and Cloud 9 rain dots to create a gift that can be displayed and treasured for many years to come. So many possible color combinations and shapes using this idea! It’s simple enough that the children could easily make this for Dad.

Instructions: 1. Start with a plain inexpensive 4x6 craft frame.
I was surprised and delighted when I saw what Deb had created. It's something that many people can use- a laptop cover. Not only is it useful and a gift that will be greatly appreciated, but it can also be customized to any size or style. This is something a dad, uncle, brother, or even some of the women in your life will love- and they'll think of you and how you took the time and effort to create it for them. Deb added some personal touches that I love as well. To view Deb's complete instructions click HERE.

What daddy wouldn't love a mini book from his family? Susan created both a beautiful mini book and a decorative and special bag to present it in. For the bag she utilized round and star squeeze punches with Heidi Grace papers and Cloud 9 rain dots. The simple kraft bag is transformed into a special work of art that is definitely worth saving. Designer: Susan Weinroth
This cute mini book has so many great pages in it- too many to share here so I've posted the full instructions HERE if you'd like to check it out.
I am inspired to spend a little extra time crafting something special for a few men in my life this Father's Day, and I hope you will too. By May Flaum with Fiskars Design Team
