"It was so easy to create a tree ornament by simply punching 3 triangles and adhering them together.  I used the various sized eyelet setters to create holes in the top layer of triangles.  I sandwiched 2 groupings of green triangles with striped paper triangles in the middle so that the striped paper showed through the holes on top.  I finished the tree of with a corrugated paper trunk."

"Lately, I've been on a quest to reuse instead of throw away. In this house, anything is fair game...and these two ornaments are no exception. The colorful 'Star' ornament is made up of chipboard that was discarded in a pack of paper. The round 'Joy' ornament is simply crafted out of an empty ribbon spool.  All it takes is a little imagination, the right tools and a few supplies. Then you're ready to either trim the tree, or like I do... add them to the top of a wrapped gift for an extra special touch!"

"I've been wanting to make ornaments for the grandparents that utilize our annual Christmas pictures and when I saw these 5x5 canvas frames, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. This ornament uses this year's Christmas picture and I've made a dozen other ornaments for each of the grandparents, one for each year we've had kids. Once i saw the completed project I had to make a set for myself, too, and we've put them on their own 4-foot tree in the foyer. it's so cool to see how the children have grown over the years and to see these ornaments together. It's a fast and easy project with BIG impact."

"When I saw this ornament idea recently, I thought the Fiskars ShapeTemplates and the Ultra ShapeXpress Tool would be perfect to re-create this fun and easy project.  The ornaments are made of holiday patterned paper and are lightweight to easily hang on any tree.  It’s a great holiday craft to do yourself or with your kids."

"A fun and festive way to give those gift cards this holiday season!  Instead of slipping them in to a card, create a tree ornament and display them proudly!"

"I like to keep my Christmas tree ornaments pretty simple. Usually, I only decorate our tree with lights and glass ornaments in silver. This year, I wanted to make a few colorful decorations with my girls, and this simple glass ornament is perfect. Just buy a few glass ornaments, some paint, and use your rub-on and ribbon stash to create this elegant Christmas ornament. Try mixing paint colors and make a few to hang in the windows as well. These ornaments will brighten all your dark December days!"

"I made these simple snowflake ornaments using the aurora punch. I thought the flocked/glittery winter Heidi Grace papers were nice for this craft because they give the ornaments a pretty touch but don’t involve any extra work."

"When deciding on an ornament to make, my first thought was felt. It brings back wonderful childhood memories. We always had felt ornaments when I was a child, and I now realize it's because it's inexpensive and so easy to work with. Then I realized I could use my newest favorite tool, the Spring Action Pinking Shears, and I was very happy! I cut out my shapes with the pinking shears, added some goodies with a little hand sewing, and punched holes for my hooks and bow. Simple, fun, and festive!"

"If you are like me, the Holidays can be hectic and stressful…and when you have little kids, they want to be involved in everything you do! I put together these quick and simple ornaments using the Heidi Grace glitter chipboard shapes and stickers. My kids even helped me by attaching the stickers and then we hung them on the tree together. I always have grand plans to make a bunch of handmade ornaments for my tree, but it never happens! These were quick  and simple and we plan on making more for our tree."
